Unique opportunity to join Gruene Hall’s management team!
This position will serve in a management capacity at Gruene Hall, as well as provide on-site coordination for bands. Weekday responsibilities include opening/closing Gruene Hall, interfacing with customers, staff development, inventory, stocking and a whole lot of other things that go into making Gruene Hall a world-wide attraction. On weekends and various other days throughout the year, you’ll also put on your event management hat. In this capacity, you will work with artists and their management team to make sure their time at the Hall and in Gruene is enjoyable and seamless – this will range from coordinating with the band to handling transportation to interfacing with sound engineers and other vendors to ensuring every detail of the artists’ rider are carried out perfectly…and of course much more!
Weekends and holidays are a must, along with evenings and late hours!
If this sounds like your dream job and you have the following requirements, we’d love to hear from you:
• Proven cash handling experience – everything from making change to making deposits
• Exceptional customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• 3 – 5 years management experience
• Strong Microsoft Office experience – you will be tested!
• A love of music, especially Americana!
