Lonesome Dove Fort Worth is currently accepting applications for experienced Line Cooks. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum 2-3 years of experience in a chef-driven restaurant, have a passion for cuisine and hospitality and make a positive impact on the team.
Job Overview:
Take direction from the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef to understand and execute all menu items according to recipes. Proficient at knowing and upholding company standards and perpetuate a positive work environment.
Requirements:
> Adept at preparing food for service to specification from proprietary recipes, e.g.chopping veg, butchering meat, making sauces, garnishes, etc…..
> Ability to observe and distinguish product quality by smell, taste, and appearance
> Able to cook in coordination with other cooks to ensure proper timing on tickets
> Must be able to work night and weekends, be able to perform all essential job functions of the position, effectively communicate in English, possess a current Texas Food Handlers Permit, and be dependable and punctual.
The salary range for this position is $14-$16 per hour depending on experience.
