Austin #1 Taco Truck is expanding & looking for Experienced Cooks (1207 E 11st)

Juana Taco is looking for an experienced cook to be part of its food truck staff we are looking for self motivated, organize, goal oriented, team player and energetic people to work with us. The shift is 6am – 2:30 pm M-F (Weekends Vary) with roots in Monterey, Nuevo Leon, and recipes perfected in the Rio Grande Valley, Juana Taco delivers authentic Mexican dishes made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Juana Taco prides itself on preparing homemade tortillas, salsas and authentic recipes daily and offers veggie friendly options.

Requirements:
– Valid Driver License (Preferred)
• 2+ years kitchen experience
– Authorize to work in the US
– Knife Skills (chop & dice)
• Previous food truck experience / catering events is a PLUS
• Must be able to handle high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation & personal cell phone
• Cleanliness, organizational skills and good customer service skills
• Able to stand for 5-9 hours and lift 30-50lbs
• Knowledge of proper food handling protocol and knife skills/safety
• A valid TX Food handling card

– Knowledge of organizing & running a successful kitchen.
