Bartender and Cocktail Server’s Wanted – Luxury Setting (Philadelphia)

Aqimero, a Richard Sandoval Restaurant located inside of the historic Ritz Carlton Philadelphia, is searching for talented Bartenders and Cocktail Servers. Our kitchen features Latin inspired notes that enhance the tastes of an eclectic menu, while a stunning atmosphere encourages guest-to-guest connections over shareable plates and carefully crafted cocktails.

Bartender Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high volume luxury setting, hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper wine service.
• Having a sharp memory for cocktail specs, guests’ orders, and regulars.
• Always using a friendly and professional tone.
• The ability to read people and situations.
• Personal cleanliness and hygiene.
• Keep the bar clean and organized, especially during high volume peaks.
• Proper cash handling.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Following standards, guidelines, and operating procedures.
• Work as a team player.
• Ability to stay calm and deescalate situations
• Maximizing the guest experience.
• Being on your feet and moving around from extended periods of time, sometimes 10+ hours.
• R.A.M.P. Certifications.
• ServSafe is a plus.
• In depth cocktail, wine and beer knowledge with the willingness to learn and grow.

Cocktail Server:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in high volume luxury setting, hotel experience preferred.
• Creating the guest experience from start to finish.
• Knowledge of proper wine service.
• Ability to stay calm and deescalate situations
• Proper communication to management, support staff, and the bar.
• Keeping sections stocked and organized.
• Basic cocktail knowledge, bartending experience is preferred but no necessary
• Having a sharp memory for guest orders and regulars
• Always using a friendly and professional tone
• Personal cleanliness and hygiene
• Proper cash handling.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Following standards, guidelines, and operating procedures.
• Work as a team player.
