Job Summary:
The Dishwasher is responsible for delivering exceptional service by ensuring all dishes are spotlessly washed quickly and efficiently. Duties include washing trays, pots and pans, and loading and unloading dishes from the dishwashing machine. The Dishwasher must store and organize washed equipment and utensils in proper storage places. The Dishwasher may support other areas of the restaurant as necessary.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
– Adhere to food safety requirement
Food Safety:
– Food Handlers Card
Store Conditions:
– Counter areas often hot with steam and food vapors
– Hot kitchens with high noise levels
– Limited work space depending on location
– Varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as business needs
Physical Requirements:
– Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time
– Occasionally reaches high storage shelving with the use of step ladder
– Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
– Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
– Performs repetitive tasks
– Works efficiently in a fast paced environment with hot and cold foods and beverage
