Chef for Exclusive Fly Fishing Lodge
The Missouri River Ranch located on the Missouri River just south of Craig, Montana looking for our next amazing Chef. Our lodge is situated on a very private 160 acres with over a mile of river frontage, yet less than an hour from Helena and Great Falls. This is the perfect place for the outdoor enthusiast who enjoys living and working in a peaceful setting. The lodge opens approximately April 1st and closes approximately October 31st. We provide housing and meals, competitive salary and an end of the season bonus upon completion of the entire seasonal commitment. Our Chef prepares made to order breakfast and gourmet dinners (normally one entrée each evening) for up to 20 lodge guests. The kitchen is open and the Chef must enjoy and encourage interaction with guests. Ability to work well with a small staff and willingness to perform any kitchen duty is a must.
Chef is responsible for all aspects of the kitchen including food preparation and presentation, estimate food consumption, standardizing recipes to ensure consistent quality, ensuring proper safety and sanitization. Menu planning and food requisition is done in conjunction with owners. Must speak, read and write in English; must be able to lift 40 pounds and work standing for 8 hours. Positive attitude and professional appearance required. Formal culinary training preferred.
