Oliver’s Lounge is looking for experienced bartenders and bar backs. Located off the lobby of the historic Mayflower Park Hotel, Oliver’s Lounge opened in 1976 as Washington State’s first daylight bar. Home of the renowned “International Martini Classic Challenge,” Oliver’s has won titles for Best Specialty Martini, Best International Classic Martini, and Seattle’s “Best Classic”.

Our sister bar, Suite 410 is also in need of Bartenders and bar backs. Suite 410 is an urban neighborhood bar known for its cool vibes, warm ambiance, well-crafted cocktails and masterful bar staff. If you are the kind of a person who is capable of standing behind a bar and tell a good story or laugh at a mediocre one while at the same time cooking up an inventive cocktail for a selective guest, then this job is for you. Wages are highly competitive, benefits are great, and there are opportunities for professional growth.

For Bartenders we are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:

•A thorough knowledge of classic mixology and modern trends is an absolute per-requisite. An ideal candidate is also well versed in local food and beverage culture.

•You must have a flexible schedule, which might include covering shifts at both establishments, Oliver’s Lounge and Suite 410 bar.

•Being able to handle one’s creative freedom within the bounds of a rigorous management structure is essential.

•Bartenders must have current MAST and Food Worker’s Permits, and must become BARSMARTS Certified within 60 days of employment.

For Bar Backs we are seeking individuals with the following qualifications:

•Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs. without assistance.

•A flexible schedule including late nights and holidays.

•Trustworthy, reliable and hard working. Strong attention to detail.

•Candidates must obtain MAST and Food Worker’s Permits within 60 days of employment.
