Food Production Workers (Bensalem)

Local bakery business currently seeking a energetic,hard-working production workers for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive.

Production Worker Duties and Responsibilities
• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
• Report any machinery issues to management
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Attend all safety and production trainings
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Able to work overtime as needed

Production Worker Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year experience working in production setting, will train right person
• willingness to work 1st and and 2nd shift preferred
• Must be available for occasional overtime
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• Able to speak and understand basic English language
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
• Able to operate large industrial machinery
• Able to work 8 hour shifts standing
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Food Manufacturing and food handling experience strongly preferred
