BARTENDERS AT THE SOFIA
Part Time/Seasonal
Reports to: Front of House and Operations Manager
Salary: Hourly plus tips

B Street Theatre at the Sofia seeks individuals to serve as Bartender for performances and events at our
state-of-the-art venue on Capitol Avenue. Duties include professionally serving drinks and snacks
at our main lobby bar for a variety of patrons, cleaning bar areas and equipment, restocking
supplies, operating iPad POS and balancing cash banks.

Qualifications:
Bartending and cash handling experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment required. Fastpaced intermission work means handling customer requests and complaints while serving several
patrons at once. Knowledge of wine, liquors, and mixology preferred. Need to be self-motivated to
uphold and enforce ABC laws, health codes, and company policies and procedures. Must be punctual
and have an exemplary attendance record. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended
periods of time. Previous bar or food service experience a must.
