Newly Opened Olivia’s Bistro, seeks sous chef.
Olivia’s Bistro, a newly opened 75 seat, contemporary Italian restaurant, in Newton’s Nonantum neighborhood, is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of sous chef. We are a scratch kitchen, with a focus on fresh pasta, wood-stone oven fired pizzas, and attention to detail. Menu’s change seasonally, with a focus on simplicity, technique, and highlighting the product in use.
Responsibilities include: proper food handling, staff training and supervision, abilities to perform any and all tasks required of a line cook (while remaining a leader in the kitchen) introductions to scheduling, inventory, ordering, menu development, and any other responsibilities that befall upon the BOH/executive chef to execute. Excellent opportunity to vessel creativity, learn, and become apart of something exciting and different in one of Newton’s most historic neighborhoods. Salary is highly competitive with incentives for incoming staff.
