Restaurant located in SOMA, ALX Gastropub, seeks DAY TIME Bartender

We are a brand-new contemporary gastropub that takes on the traditional public house fare, focusing on local seasonal ingredients that pair with various California craft beers alongside wines and specialty cocktails.

– Accountability and dependability
– Positive attitude
– Open availability for day shifts, MUST be able to work Sunday brunch hours!

Bartender
Looking for full time bartender for a lunch casual yet upscale gastropub. Bartenders will be expected to have a strong knowledge base regarding beers, spirits, wines and cocktails.

Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome guests in a timely manner with friendly demeanor
– Take orders for both food and beverages with a strong understanding of product
– Handle monetary transactions with responsibility
– Set up and or break down bar setup properly
– Effectively build strong relationships with clientele

Qualifications:
– 2 years experience with at least one year involved with craft beer/cocktails
– ServSafe certification required prior to hiring
– Prior experience with Aloha preferred
– Creativity/imagination to create new exciting cocktails for the bar program
