Bar Back needed in Lincoln Park (Wrightwood Ave & Halsted St)

Busy neighborhood Tavern is seeking 2 EXPERIENCED Bar Backs for Friday and Saturday nights.

Since the right candidate must have experience, I’m sure you will know that duties include, but are not limited to:

Keeping the bar fully stocked at all times.
Cut garnishes.
Fill Garnish trays.
Refill ice wells.
Restock liquor bottles.
Empty dispensers.
Change out beer kegs.
Replenish napkins, toothpicks, straws, and other counter items.
Maintain clean rags at bartender station.
Cleaning
Clean counters.
Clean furniture.
Clean glasses and dishes.
Clean drink spills and sweep broken glassware.
Stock bathrooms.
Clean messes.
Take out the trash or recycling throughout the shift.
Collect empty glasses from the bar.
Repair sink clogs.
Mop behind the bar.
Clean no-slip mats behind the bar.
Restock for next shift.
Put away the liquor and beer delivery that came in during the day.
Set and tear down the bar at each shift, closing to open.

Help the bartender with anything that he or she needs.
Relay key info to security -like fighting, someone drinking out of an outside bottle, someone underage
Help out with drink orders if needed…all so that bartenders can provide service to as many customers as possible without hesitation.
