LINE COOKS- FULL TIME, OCTAVIA:
Job Details:
Opportunity for daytime / production shifts as well as evening shifts managing stations.
Flexibility to work multiple stations- Garde Manger, Hot Apps, Entremet, Meat, and Pastry.
Station prep and management.

Experience/ Responsibilities:
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, high traffic environment.
Strong work ethic, ambition and desire to learn
Prompt, dependable, with a team player mentality.
Enthusiasm for local, seasonal ingredients desired.
Minimum 1 year experience in a fast paced, fine dining restaurant desired.
Open schedule strongly desired.

PASTRY COOK – FULL TIME, OCTAVIA
This is primarily a production position with occasional line work (as needed.)

Qualifications:
Pastry and bread production experience required.
Recipe development experience required.
Classic pastry techniques and plating experience required.
An enthusiasm for local, seasonal products strongly preferred.
Previous experience with a daily changing menu preferred.
A positive, team-player mentality required.
Previous management experience preferred.
Experience with placing orders, production schedules, and strong communication strongly desired.

Responsibilities:
Day to day management of pastry team.
Quality control for all pastry ingredients and mise en place.
Communication liaison with Pastry Chef, pastry team, and management.
Maintaining and monitoring production schedule.
Occasional evening shifts working pastry station during service.
Execution of and communication about special dessert requests.

SERVERS:
*1-2 years service experience in a fast paced, fine dining restaurant required
*Sommelier level wine knowledge strongly preferred
*Weekend/ Monday availability required

*Interest in local, seasonal cuisine a plus!
