What makes our dream barista?
 You take your coffee very, very personally. You have an uncompromising passion for all-things coffee and you can produce some mean latte art.
 You can jump right in and make the perfect Cortado. That will likely mean that you’ve had 1-year (or more) experience in a specialty coffee environment, and that you can operate a manual espresso machine like La Marzocco in your sleep.
 You’re fun to work with and to be around. We’d be happy to wake up early in the morning to work a shift with you, and you’ll always provide our customers with a warm, friendly and welcoming experience.
 You’re serious about your craft and you take pride in it. You want everything you’re involved in to be of the highest standard. That will likely mean that you have an eye for detail, that you’re proactive, and that you’re invested in what you do.

What’s gonna win you brownie points:
 Having a New York Food Handlers’ Certificate.
 You have availability to work on weekends.

 Lateness. We’ll always be respectful of your time, and we’re looking for people who are respectful of our customer’s time as well. If you often find yourself late to work, then it just wasn’t meant to be.
