Brewer for New Nano Brewpub (Bridgeport, TX)

Walking Beam Brewing Co is Now Hiring! Startup Brewpub offering gourmet pizza, salads and a number of other creative items. Great opportunity to start and grow with a great operation in an newly renovated space on historic Halsell St.

Specifically looking for a brewer, cook/kitchen manager, kitchen staff, servers, etc.

Brewer will have multiple responsibilities in assisting with the opening and operation of a nano brewpub concept including; initial setup of brew-house, brewery operation, recipes, inventory, bar/beer tending and management. Operational brewery experience is not required for the brewing position but would be a plus. A home brewer with some credible knowledge and a willingness to learn would be considered. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Cook/chef/kitchen manager will be a key position for the restaurant side of the operation. Not looking for an overly experienced chef but a talented and eager hard worker.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up. We are a privately owned and operated establishment, kind of a Mom and Pop shop. We want to bring on some talented out-of-the-box thinking individuals to be part of our venture.

Plan on opening the doors in the first few weeks of February.

Positions can be full or part time depending on the individual applying.
