Cheese & Natural Wine Retail (Boston)

Hey artisan food/booze lover!

Are you that guy/gal who always brings the nice beer to your friend’s place? Who heads straight for the cheese plate at a dinner party? Who looks forward to the farmers market or can get down with a bottle of funky, fun wine?

American Provisions is hiring full-time staff for both shops: our existing Southie shop and our upcoming Dorchester shop at Ashmont.

Recipient of the Best of Boston 2016 award for Best Cheese Shop, we also represent a badass selection of natural wines, craft beers, charcuterie, local produce, and artisanal grocery items. We love food and we love sharing it with our community. We work hard and we have fun!

As a retail team member, your responsibilities will include:

– Becoming well versed in our selection of cheese, meat, beer, wine and other specialty foods
– Greeting customers and answering food related queries
– Crafting espresso drinks
– Everyday maintenance of the shop (bagging produce, stocking shelves, box break down etc.)
– Multitask like crazy and keep tab on all aspects of front and back of house operations

You may also have the opportunity to be involved in events and classes, or in collaborating with our kitchen program (in Dorchester).

We’re looking for hard workers who aren’t afraid of a fast paced climate, and people who are passionate about farm-to-table food, and a fun and rewarding work environment!
