Hiring Bartenders, Cocktail Servers and a Front Desk Hostess (Bridgeview)

Polekatz Gentelmen’s Club is now seeking friendly and hardworking individuals to join our Bartender and Cocktail Server team! We are open 7 days a week and located in Bridgeview. Prior BARTENDING and COCKTAIL SERVING experience is a plus but not required. Please read all qualifications before applying:

Front Door Hostess must be 18 years or older. POS and cash handling experience a plus.

Duties:
-Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
-Take drink/food orders and inform guests of drink specials
-Enter drinks/food into POS system and deliver them to customers
-Monitor and observe the experience of the guests, ensuring that they are pleased with the service
-Present checks to guests and accurately collect payment
-Bus glassware and clean sections and bar
-Prep the main floor and bar and maintain a clean service area
-Be willing to assist other bartenders and servers if necessary

Qualifications:
Experience bartending or cocktail serving is a definite plus
Must be able to work well in a high volume/high pressure environment
Must have alcoholic beverage knowledge
Experience with a POS system
Must be able to commit to working at least 3-4 nights a week, weekends and some holidays
Illinois Bassett Certification and Illinois Food Handlers Certificate is a PLUS
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented and a self -starter
Must be at least 21 years of age
