Duke’s La Jolla is looking for 2 line cooks to join our team!
Description
Prepare meats, vegetables, batters, sauces, and mixes according to recipies for use at station
Assure that all food procedures are followed
Follow all sanitation guidelines
Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
Restock or breakdown assigned station before next meal period depending on shift
Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful conditions
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years of food preparation experience required
Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
Receive and follow directions from supervisors; follow direction of computer generated tickets
Physical Requirements;
Stand, Walk, Use Hands/Fingers, Reach Outward, Lift/Carry, Push/Pull 10-25lbs – Constantly
Reach Above Shoulder, Bend, Lift/Carry, Push/Pull 25-50lbs – Frequently
Climb, Squat or Kneel – Occasionally
