STOUT NYC GROUP ~ Executive Chef & Sous Chefs (Midtown)

EXECUTIVE CHEF & SOUS CHEFs

Stout NYC is expanding and we are currently seeking Experienced Chefs & Sous Chefs for our high volume casual restaurants. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a successful and growing company with new projects in the planning stages. We are looking for someone to join our team who works well in a team environment and values quality and guest service.

Candidate must have the following qualifications:

* Must be highly organized and have solid leadership skills, able to hire, train, schedule, develop and motivate a large staff of diverse backgrounds
* Good communication skills & the ability to think on your feet & adapt.
* Have good food and labor cost control
* Have strong hands on line skills
* Experience in purchasing, inventory and menu planning
* Able to monitor company standards and maintain consistency.
* 5 years minimum in large scale high volume environment for Chefs and 1-2 years for sous chefs.
* Have a NYC DOH Food Handler Certificate and be able to train staff to work within NYC guidelines. Keeping our “A” is also a key part of this position.
