QUACK’S 43RD STREET BAKERY IS LOOKING FOR A WHOLESALE BAKED GOOD WRAPPER/PACKER

-Neighborhood Bakery and Coffeehouse specializing in scratch-made baking using only the good stuff. No additives, artificial ingredients, shortenings or other junk in our product.
-Wholesale bakers for several other coffeehouses and cafes around Austin.
-An energetic crew of characters looking for our missing piece.

Quacks is also about to GROW! We are under construction right NOW at our South Austin Wholesale Bakery and Music Venue andour new East Austin Cakery concept has just opened in the Mueller area.

What you’ll do:
You will have 1 – 4 shifts as a wholesale baked goods wrapper/packer, with shifts starting at 7pm and ending around 1am (end times may vary based on number of orders.) As a wrapper/packer, you will wrap items individually as instructed and pack all wholesale orders based on the invoices provided and prepare the packages for delivery to one of our 45+ wholesale accounts around town. We are a local, old-school Austin establishment that specializes in from-scratch baked goods baked daily onsite. We are currently expanding and we’re looking for the right candidate to grow with us. This is an entry-level position and is the perfect opportunity to get a foot in the door of the baked goods industry.

You need to:
– Have a positive attitude
– Be able to do a great job efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
– Have stellar attention to detail
– Have prior restaurant experience (a plus in a fast-paced environment)
– Be a team player with a “Can Do” Attitude
– Be comfortable standing for long periods of time
– Completely follow safety procedures, written and verbal.
– Be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular, consistent basis.
– Be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights
– Have a valid Food Handler’s Certificate
