Cook at Mental Health Residential Program (concord / pleasant hill / martinez)

We are looking for compassionate, thoughtful individuals that are invested in working with people in the mental health field. Our ideal candidates are team players with great attitudes who are constantly looking at ways to grow and improve.

Cook responsibilities include:
-Cooking healthy meals for 80 residents
-Following of procedures for preparation, food safety, portion sizes, etc.
-Assistance in food service
-Proper storage and labeling of food
-Work with residents in a training capacity
-Communication of important/urgent information to colleagues/supervisors
-Organization/cleaning of kitchen/dining areas

Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma preferred
-Previous experience as a cook/chef preferred
-Experience in supervising food service staff preferred
-First Aid Certification required
-Experience working in healthcare preferred
