Job Overview
A Kings Dining & Entertainment Manager’s main focus is service standards and their main areas of responsibility are the restaurant, lanes and the front desk. The DEM assists the DOO in all aspects of the day-to-day floor management, including food, equipment, and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and Kings initiatives. In addition, the DEM cultivates a team environment that provides exceptional guest service while motivating team members, instilling accountability, and achieving results to drive success in the position and drive success for those you mentor.
Dining & Entertainment Manager Responsibilities

Daily pre-meals, weekly manager meetings, one on one communication, recognition, coaching, corrective action, and development plans are in place
Ensure team members paperwork, onboarding, orientation, certifications and training materials are completed and understood
All pars are met for staffing in the department to ensure the guest experience and business growth is positive
Reduce turnover in the department by making genuine connections with the team and motivating them
Develop hourly team members to new roles as well as managerial level position
Assists the Director of Operations with training and development of managers in and out of the department
Full support of all promotions, marketing and compliance goals
Accurate forecasting and analyzing of previous sales, upcoming booked events, promotions, special events, local impact events and holidays to ensure proper coverage and preparation within the venue
Creation and execution of special venue specific contests featuring but not limited to holiday & menu rollouts
Ensure that all sales managers’ daily, weekly and monthly routines are being completed accurately and on time
Host team member meetings to review marketing support needs and event execution best practices for upcoming months
Is able to manage supply costs to budget by keeping a declining budget every month without exceeding the budget dollars. Provides their team the supplies needed to do their job while never sacrifices guest service.
Discount awareness to ensure any reduction of the price set forth by the company results in positive sales growth and guests experience. Discounts will be reviewed closely to ensure there is merit to all discounted transactions
Understand and contribute positively to venue profitability by analyzing the P&L statement (KPI) and creates actions plans to help put more money into the EBITDA line
Meet and exceed goals set for your location on a consistent basis
Conduct monthly review of website ensuring accurate information is posted
Review site monitoring and location review score improvement
Ensure referral and bounce back program is being used consistently and appropriately and have continued education and coaching so these become the culture in the store
Create and maintain hotel, apartment, mall, and small business relationships within a 5-7 mile radius of the venue
Go above and beyond to consistently “WOW” guests by providing more than expected service through a culture of empowerment

Qualifications & Requirements
7 day a week plus holiday availability, 50+ hours
Strong hospitality and guest service skills
Demonstrated time management & organizational skills
Previous experience in restaurant/bar positions
Maintains a professional appearance according to Kings standards

Salary is competitive and based on experience
