Wholesale bakery is looking for a motivated, talented, and friendly, experienced baker. Ideal candidate has preferably at least:
• A certificate or degree in baking and pastry
• Or equivalent bakery production experience
The hours are 4pm-midnight and the kitchen is located in the Bridgeport neighborhood. You must be fluent in English and legally able to work in the United States. Pay is $13.50/hr during training, and $15/hr thereafter.
Baker will be involved in nightly production of croissant dough, lamination and shaping, bagel dough and shaping/baking, as well as production of a few other baked items. Knowledge of yeast doughs is a plus, but we will train on the specifics. We expect punctual, well groomed applicants!
***Lastly, we hold a high standard of cleanliness. If you don’t like to clean, and don’t prefer to work in a clean, organized environment, this job is not for you.
