Line Cook:

We are looking for someone to join our team, who has a positive attitude and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities include prepping and cooking lunch and dinner items, organizing inventory, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining the kitchen and surrounding area.

REQUIREMENTS
1) Perform shift opening and closing duties (starting equipment, grill, cleaning grill, end of shift breakdown etc) and food preparations.
2) Customer Service Skills: Kitchen is in full view of the customer, which requires a positive attitude, good hygiene, ability to speak confidently while keeping your voice at a low tone as to not disturb customers and have a smile and maintaining professionalism at all times.
3) Set up and stock food stations with all of the necessary supplies and prepare food for service as well as prep for next day food preparations.
4) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
5) Ensure that food is prepared to our quality standards AND customers specifications in a timely fashion and with no waste.
6) Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards, maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
7) Have the ability to lift material containers up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
8) Properly checking in and reviewing deliveries for accuracy and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 2 years previous restaurant line cook experience
Must have valid food handlers permit to work
Must be a self-starter
Demonstrate knowledge of food preparation and presentation
Good communication skills
Professional and clean appearance
Valid driver’s license and Reliable Transportation
Task-driven in a fast-paced environment (Accuracy and speed are key)

We are currently looking to fill evening and closing shifts. Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays. Career and growth potential.
