Crepe & Prep Cook (Liberty Station)

Le Parfait is seeking a RELIABLE, Punctual, Meticulous, Organized and Fast morning cook with or without experience and a strong work ethic. This is a good starting position in the kitchen.

part time between 16 to 20hrs around $15/hrs

Have weekends and holidays available

Duties:

– Follow recipes in an organized and timely manner
– Make poached eggs, sunny side up eggs, scramble eggs
– Make crepes
– Make mothers sauces such as Béchamel
– Keep the sandwich unit area stocked with full preps, and make sure to check and restock the items to maintain enough supply throughout the shift
– Have cutting skills (sliced, diced…)
– Follow and understand the appropriate food handling, safety and sanitation codes when cooking and cleaning
– Maintain a professional appearance throughout the entire shift
– Be friendly and professional with the customers and staff

Requirement:
– Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently
– Must get the San Diego Food handler license
