Bareburger Philadelphia Hiring Line Cooks, Servers and Bartenders (Philadelphia)

We are immediately looking to fill Part-Time Line-Cook, Serving, and Bartending Positions for the Philadelphia Location of our Corporate-Owned, Table-Service, Fast-Casual, Burger-Bar. We are located at 11th and Walnut Street in the Gayborhood. The area is currently in the middle of a huge revitalization. We have recently launched a new menu that is now 50% Vegan. Many of our diners are Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Soy Free etc. and the utmost of care must be paid attention to their orders. Custom Orders are an everyday experience!

LINE COOK:
As such, we are primarily looking for a skilled Line Cook who can lead a kitchen through the weeds and be fluent with proper kitchen protocol regarding Dietary Restrictions and Food Allergens. The utmost of care must be paid attention to every order as custom Orders are an everyday experience!

We are looking for a Line Cook with at least 2 years of experience in a fast paced kitchen. Line Cooks are all cross-trained and should be able to handle various stations on different shifts. These include the following: Fry Station, Finish Station, Salad Station, Meat Grill Station, Vegan Grill Station. We do around 50% Dine-In/50%Take-Out Orders with the bulk of our sales occurring from 12PM-2pm/6pm-9pm weekdays and Afternoons/Evenings on Weekends.

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING:
Must have experience working in a faced paced kitchen.
Have clear knowledge of food handling issues and preferably have a Servsafe Food Handler’s License.
Have familiarity with online scheduling. We use 7shifts for communication and scheduling
Ensures quality control & consistency of all foods. Ensure inventory is rotated properly (FIFO: First In First Out).
Adheres to health & safety standards when handling food.
Keeps prep area clean, safe & free of clutter.
Relies on instructions & pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Adheres to Bareburger standards, including personal hygiene & appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned by the General or assistant manager.
Is able to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements:
Must have at least two (2) years experience working on the line in a fast paced kitchen environment
Must have some knife skills & understand proper food handling
Must always be punctual
Must have the requirements necessary for employment in the US
Responsibilities:
Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, as well as kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
Maintain a clean and sanitary work space, including proper removal and storage of leftover foods
Stock inventory appropriately and consistently through approved vendors
Ensure that food comes out to customers at a high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
Assist in food preparation assignments during off-peak periods as needed
Pay is determind by Talent and Experience. Starting pay rates may be raised once exemplary performance is determined.

BARTENDER:
We are looking for a Bartender with at least 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced environment. Our Bar is a primarily Beer/Soft-Beverage service but we also have Cocktail and Wine Service. The majority of your time will be relegated to Preparing/Running Drinks and managing all Take-Out Services. We provide In-House Call In Take-Out/Delivery Orders as well as 3rd Party Delivery Services such as UberEats, Caviar, and Grubhub. Bartenders are also responsible for MilkShake and Dessert preparation

We are in the process of expanding our Bar and require someone with Classic Cocktail experience, that is fluent in new cocktail trends, as well as comfortable with the ability to develop future cocktails, if so desired.

We also Cross-Train for other FOH positions, so there wil be the option to Run/Bartendas well. FOH is a team effort all around since everyone, primarily makes around the same amount of money per shift. We are a Pooled House. Paychecks are paid Weekly and Credit Card Tips are Taxed.

R.A.M.P. Certification is a plus.
Must be able to life 50+Pounds
Ability to change kegs.

SERVER:
Requirements:
We are looking for a server with at least 2 years of experience working in a fast paced environment.
Servers should be able to expedite and run their own food during slower shifts.
Ideal candidate will have worked around a myriad of Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions

Server Duties:
• Describes menu and daily specials, takes orders, serves food and makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals.
• Responsible for coordinating entire station and communicating front- and back-of- house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations.
• Processes guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
• Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service, responds to additional requests, and determines when the meal has been completed.
• Rings up bills and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier.
• Assist busser/runner in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.

We also Cross-Train for other FOH positions, so there will be the option to Run/Bartend as well. FOH is a team effort all around since everyone, primarily makes around the same amount of money per shift. We are a Pooled House. Paychecks are paid Weekly and Credit Card Tips are Taxed.
