Assistant Restaurant Manager – Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

Waldorf Astoria is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee The Cafe & Bar at this gorgeous Atlanta property!

Located in one of Atlanta’s most prestigious neighborhoods, this 42-story tower has over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 7,000 square feet of meeting space, and 2 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant and 24-hour in-room dining.

In this role, you will oversee the 3-meal restaurant managing a team of 10-15. As the newest property to join the Waldorf Astoria Brand, you will have the opportunity to be a key leader in driving change and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a true passion for luxury service, a wealth of food and beverage knowledge, and strong leadership skills. At least 3 years of restaurant leadership experience in a fine dining atmosphere is required. Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you would be responsible for assisting the manager in directing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel food and beverage outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service, coffee shop, etc.) to deliver an excellent guest experience. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assist in the management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

  • Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
