Bartender (redwood city)

The Redwood City Elks Lodge / Emerald Hills Golf Course is seeking qualified, talented part-time and on-call bartenders to join our friendly, close-knit team. Immediate hire for qualified candidates. The Lodge operates a daily member’s bar, various full-service banqueting bars as well a seasonal pool bar. Banqueting activity offers high volume, speed-tending work while daily shifts offer a slower, more even pace. Ideal candidates possess a solid balance between one-on-one service and speedy drink production, while maintaining a friendly and upbeat demeanor.

Candidates will have the following qualifications:
– 1-3 years of bar/restaurant experience or completion of bartending school
– Flexible Schedule
– Reliable, honest and a mature, professional demeanor (no on the job drinking)
– Excellent communication and listening skills
– Advanced knowledge of mixed drinks, beer and wine
– Works FAST, ORGANIZED, and CLEAN
– Experience with touch screen point-of-sale systems

Desired Qualifications:
– L.E.A.D. + ServSafe training and certification

Wages, hours and Compensation:
– We offer a hourly rate well above mandated minimum wage
– 12-20 hours/week and on-call for special events
– Steady and consistent tips
