Upscale Center City Italian Coffee Shop / Cafe / Bar is looking for a talented team member who shares our passion to operate a professional, guest-oriented business. Openings available for day, night and weekend shifts.

We are searching for an experienced professional barista/bartender/server/counter attendant who can demonstrate our standards of service behind the bar and on the dining room floor. We require an intense knowledge of food, wine, beer and cocktails

At least 1 year experience hand steaming milk and 1 year experience of professional bar-tending.

Have previous experience working with specialty coffee in a high volume environment.
Ability to HAND STEAM MILK and make a GREAT cappuccino
Excellent customer service and a friendly smile
Knowledgeable about coffee
Demonstrate passion for the industry
Work amazingly well with others

We require an individual who is punctual, attentive to detail, reliable, and above all — friendly. The ALICE Counter Attendant is genuinely happy to provide outstanding service to all of our guests in a professional and upbeat fashion.
He/She is responsible for;

-Cutting and serving pizza
-Able to work in fast paced environment
-prepping the station for desserts and gelato.
-cutting, portioning, and correctly storing products
-up keep of equipment including warming ovens and panini presses
-working service, lunch or dinner depending on shift
-properly flipping, storing and stocking the station
-Closing down the section at night and cleaning the station properly for
the next work day.

Knowledge of the Italian language is a plus.

Our Restaurant and Cafe is exceptionally clean, well run, and we as a team always strive to exceed the expectations of all our guests. Our Counter Attendant is of the utmost importance because he or she is the first to greet each and every guest and make a lasting first impression

If hired Starting pay is $10 an hour plus tips, after 30 days of exemplary performance we will bump up to $11
