Summary and Job Objectives
Knowledgeable of different types of seafood. Knowledge of frying and light prep work. Use of standardized recipes. ServeSafe certification helpful. Great communication skills. Team oriented. Must be committed to our mission and culture: We are committed to making guests feel at home by serving great food and excellent service, in a warm and welcoming environment. This is up to 35 hours a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Set up workstation and complete prep
• Help other line stations in set up and prep
• Proper cooking of poultry, fish, shellfish, vegetables, sauces, etc..
• Execute recipes according to standardized recipes and plate diagrams
• Maintain correct weights and portioning sizes
• Use of Fryer & Boiler
• Work safely and comply with safety standards
• Proper knife usage
• Follow proper repair and maintenance of equipment
• Maintain a clean work area and overall cleanliness of the restaurant
• Assist dishwashing

Physical Requirements
• Carry boxes and re-stock deliveries frequently
• Lift up to 10 pounds frequently
• Bend down to lift items frequently
• Can work up to 8 hours on feet frequently

Experience
2 years minimum experience as a cook in a busy and similar restaurant
