Restaurant Supervisor Eagle vine vineyard & Golf Club – American Canyo (fairfield / vacaville)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist the F&B Director in Interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling and disciplining staff. * Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and steps of service are met through all guests interactions. * Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift. * Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff. * Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary. * Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff

Restaurant Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred
Significant work experience in the hospitality industry and in management – one year
supervisor: 1-2 year
Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
Ability to use restaurant management software
Strong leadership skills
Decisive and critical thinker
Must be friendly and willing to go above and beyond to provide great service to guests
Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and procedures.
Exhibit working knowledge of scheduling functions
