Event Sales Manager (emeryville)

Chalet Restaurant Group is seeking a full-time Event Sales Manager to add to our successful Events and Sales department. Chalet Restaurant Group includes the popular Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Lake Merritt, Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant, and Park Chalet Garden Restaurant all located in historic buildings with stunning views of Ocean Beach in San Francisco.

Job Description: The Event Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of private event operations with a focus on sales and top-line revenue. You will complete various administrative tasks and other special projects as needed. This is a full-time position and the working hours will vary depending on the needs of the operations, including nights and weekends when applicable.

In this role you will work alongside our Event Director, Event Coordinator and Marketing Manager to help grow our events revenue. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining your sales goals and relationships with existing and new clients.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with Event Sales and or Banquet/Catering.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience.
• A genuine desire to help expand our event department and be part of the growth and success of our company.

Compensation:
• Base salary based on experience and qualifications.
• Commission based on sales.
