Long time Midtown favorite Mexican restaurant is seeking to fill positions for Assistant Manager, Catering Manager, Bartenders & Hostess. All positions require a California Food Handlers Card.

Title: Manager Assistant

Reports to: Owner & Management Team
Job Description: Restaurant Floor Supervisor

• Maintain Restaurant Policy and Procedures for servers, bussers, bartenders and host.
• Oversee cost of labor verses sales.
• Ensure guest dinning experience with standards set by Management Team.
• Able to use P.O.S. (Aloha 7)
• Determine voids, comps and discount employees meals correctly.
• Communicate and enforce new policy and procedures to appropriate staff members.
• Coach in the moment for team effort.
• Provide support to all staff when needed I.E. seat guest, buss tables, run food, expedite food, print & deliverer guest checks.
• Learn and understand menu and bar items.
• Must be able to place order for to-go, restaurant dinning & make house drinks.
• Count and deposit employee end of shift deposits.
• Mandate and control disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and procedures correctly.
• Count & maintain cash in P.O.S. stations.

* Must be willing to open & close the restaurant on scheduled days.
Valid & Reliable Transportation is a must!!!

Job Description: Bartending & Serving Bar Guest

• Greet and welcome our guest.
• Maintain the bar & area with company policy and procedure.
• Follow directions, mixing/pouring-portions with bar procedure.
• Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies and procedures.
• Report directly to Management.
• Provide guest/servers with there drink orders in a timely manor.
• Prepare and close guest ticks with correct moneys given.
• Achieve in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through the time of being an employee at the restaurant.
•Ensure that all equipment is kept clean, and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs by management.
• Learn all items on restaurant menu, I.E. food, alcohol drinks, beverages, deserts, ingredients for breakfast/lunch/dinner times & restrictions.
• Keeping liquor storage area clean in all walk ways, storage shelving, cu-bards and product drop off areas.
• Control stressful situations with high peak rushes.
• Understand and detect prevention for over intoxication or intoxicated guest for safety.
• Able to learn new and implement change to policy and procedure in the restaurant.

Summary of the Position:
Oversee and coordinate seating of all guest, take To-Go orders, Opening/closing of the front host stand and restaurant, cleaning and bussing tables before & after guest, guest service and
satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guest.
• Schedule Reservations up to 14 guest with out Manager approval.
•Understand completely the mission, philosophy and goals. Execute procedure that will achieve these goals.
•Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
•Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and
sanitation and cleanliness through the time of being an employee at the restaurant.
• Control cash within host cash station for all host orders.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
