Revival Food Hall | Busser/Porter – Backbone (CHICAGO)

Job Summary
The Backbone | Greeter, Porter is responsible for the overall maintenance of the dining room and BOH spaces at Revival Food Hall. With a high-volume of guest contact, service is everything! 16” On Center has brought together some of the city’s favorite dining destinations into a casual grab-and-go setting. Residing in the historic landmark “National Building,” Revival Food Hall is the culmination of many layers of individual efforts in a highly collaborative environment. The Backbone is essential in providing overall support and structure, integrating all of the moving parts of the business.

Summary of Essential Job Functions
Clear tables of trays, food waste, disposable and recyclable materials. Wipe down tables and reset furniture.
Continuously circulate dirty and clean dishes and service items.
Remove and replenish garbage and recycling receptacles.
Clean all surfaces utilizing different methods, performing tasks daily, weekly, and monthly as needed.
Be the first point of contact for positive guest interaction, providing knowledge and answering a multitude of questions.
Bend, reach, lift, carry, stand, walk and stoop as needed to perform all support tasks.
Provide support to all vendors, keeping clean the shared spaces and equipment.
Perform all other support tasks as needed, under the direction of RFH Management.
Operate within and maintain a pleasant and supportive work environment, interacting with all employees in the multi-faceted and collaborative work environment.
