Host/Busser/Servers- FINE DINING STEAKHOUSE (santa clara)

We are looking to hire AM servers, AM bussers and AM/PM hosts. Please include which position you are applying for.

REQUIREMENTS:
The successful food server candidate must possess the ability to conduct themselves with poise and tact. A professional, positive demeanor, and excellent grooming are requirements for this position. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of two years food server experience in a fast paced, high volume environment. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel and to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length. Must have the ability to lift trays frequently weighing up to forty pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively.

The successful bus person must possess the ability to conduct him/herself with poise and tact. A professional and positive demeanor, good communication skills, grace under pressure and excellent grooming are requirements for this position. High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of two years food server experience in a fast paced, high volume environment. Must be age 21 or older and be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four hours in length. Must be able to reach, bend, kneel and frequently lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds. Must also be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must possess or be able to obtain within 30 days of hire a valid California Food Handler card.

Our host is the first and last impressions of our restaurant; the ability to conduct him/her with poise and tact are essential. A professional and positive demeanor, excellent communication skills, grace under pressure and excellent grooming are requirements for this position. High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of one to two years previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience. Experience with floor plans, seating charts is required. Experience with OpenTable is a bonus.

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
