Position Summary:

Responsible for performing simple manual work in maintaining a clean and orderly bakery. Uphold the core values of the organization and its mission while consistently presenting and promoting brand integrity, product quality and customer service standards.

Principle Duties:
*Responsible for performing simple manual work in maintaining a clean and orderly bakery.
*Cleaning, sanitizing and organizing all equipment, dishes, pots, pans, tools, utensils, tables and grease traps, Tupperware drawers and storage areas.
*Maintaining neat appearance of working areas, including bathrooms.
*Keep bakery supplies generally organized and tidy; assists in putting away food and supply orders.
*Keep bakery grounds clean by: sweeping and moping all floors, breaking down cardboard boxes, emptying trash cans and taking out recycling.
*Cleans garbage cans and waste barrels.

Physical demands and work environment:
*Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break
*Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required
*Work environment includes working with hot cooking equipment.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
*Hours of work for the position are approximately 40 hours per week
*Occasional moderate to heavy (10-25+lb) lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required.
*Follows policies and procedures.
*Takes directions well and hits the ground running.
*Understands expectations of role and works within the boundaries of the role
*Organized with good time management skills.
*Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
