TPC Sawgrass Hostess (Ponte Vedra Beach)

TPC Sawgrass is home to THE PLAYERS Championship, the birthplace of the TPC Network, and the backdrop to the PGA TOUR headquarters. Located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, it is perhaps the world’s most famous golf course. Golf enthusiast will find not one, but two public PGA TOUR championship courses at the club, both designed by world-renowned architect Pete Dye. The Mediterranean-Style, 77,000 square foot clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass features a variety of dining options, an expansive gallery, beautifully appointed banquet and meeting space, and a world-class golf shop.

Our food and beverage team services two restaurants and the banquet space within the Clubhouse. NINETEEN features a creative array of freshly prepared American and Continental cuisine in a warm, inviting ambiance. NINETEEN has received numerous accolades such as Top 50 Restaurant by Jacksonville Magazine, Florida Trends Golden Spoon Award, and numerous “best of” by Open Table, establishing it as a destination restaurant in the area. Menus change seasonally to take advantage of the freshest local fare, with options ranging from wasabi crusted tuna, filet mignon to Florida grouper to go along with an award-winning wine list. Traditions offers a fine-dining experience open to the public for lunch and exclusively to Members for dinner. Adorned with timeless furnishings and all of the beauty and extravagance of the classic Clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass, Traditions offers delicious fare and the same award-winning wine list as NINETEEN.

TPC Sawgrass is currently seeking team players to join our Food and Beverage staff as a Part or Full-Time Host to assist our members and guests with their dining needs.

Responsibilities include:
Greeting all arriving members and guest in a pleasant manner
Escorting members and guests to their desired dining location, presenting menus, and informing them of who their server will be
Notify servers of newly seated tables to ensure prompt service to guests
Schedule dining reservations and arrange special services for members and guests as requested
Ensure work stations are neat, clean and properly set according to TPC standards

Qualified candidates will have the following:
Prior experience in a food service capacity, preferably in a club or fast paced environment is preferred
Great attitude
Team player
Customer service oriented
Dependability
At least 18 years of age
