Line Cook- Corporate Cafe’

The Café cook will be a member of the dining team to deliver a quality dining experience for an in house café.    

 

Responsibilities and Expectations

 

  • Prepare food based on recipes and procedures of the Cafeteria Manager
  • Cook a standard menu of food for breakfast and lunch
  • Knowledge of everything on the menu, how to prepare it, and cook to the appropriate temperatures
  • Manage food waste to keep costs at an acceptable level
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation your work areas
  • Store and prepare all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations

·         Restocking of supplies

·         Flexibility to adjust to a changing work environment

·         Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

·         Ability to take direction from manager and complete daily duties

·         Training of new cooks for volume increases and redundancy

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency required
  • Previous experience in the food service industry
  • Serve Safe certified
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills
  • Must pass a national background check
