Hotel Supervisor (Carlsbad)

The Carlsbad Beach Hotel Properties,LLC seeks a Hotel Supervisor capable of creating memorable, remarkable, and guest-centric service moments for Guests and Team Members alike. Our Hotel Supervisor will participate in all aspects of the Front Office and Housekeeping operations.

The position includes the supervision of the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Housekeeping Supervisor (generally two days a week). Conduct room inspections and ensure high levels of cleanliness, guest service and satisfaction throughout the hotel including guest rooms and public areas.

What the Team Leader will do:
Communicate clearly and persuasively at all levels in written and oral formats.
Make excellent decisions using good judgment.

Dress, act, and speak professionally and with discretion.

Directly oversee Front Desk, Breakfast and Service Ace (Pool and Beach) operations in an active and hands-on manner.

Emphasize lateral service

Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. Take the appropriate action to resolve matters and follow up to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Interview, hire, supervise, train and otherwise ensure the success of new associates

Demonstrate levels of ownership and leadership.

Master basic computer and math skills, must be organized, detail oriented, work under pressure, ability to solve problems in a professional manner.

Tour and inspect the hotel daily, making sure all deficiencies are corrected

Supervise responsible spending, payroll, and regulatory compliance.

Be able to play well with others and persuade them to help build a better hotel and community.

Be work centric in attendance and flexible with schedule, even at the last minute.

Prioritize and delegate work as needed.

Knowledge of the hotel property, amenities and area attractions.

Maintain correct procedures for hotel accounting, credit control and handling of financial transactions, and supply inventory.

Work closely with our Engineering Department to ensure fully functioning guest rooms and public areas.

Perform additional duties assigned by the Hotel Manager.
