Prep Cook at Award-Winning Shop (South Boston)

The upcoming American Provisions in Dorchester is hiring prep cooks to join its team! We will be creating sandwiches with the finest ingredients, cooked-to-order food, prepared foods & much more. We are looking for full-time employees with strong work ethics and kitchen experience to help us drive our program forward.

Your responsibilities would include:

– Daily prep of all menu items
– Regular production of house-made retail items (such as pasta salads, sauces, etc.)
– Organization and maintenance of all kitchen areas
– Hot line
– Catering

You must be:
– A hard worker, who leads by example
– Organized and efficient
– Available to work weekends
– Someone who has prior kitchen experience and excellent knife skills

We hope to find someone who will stay on our team for at least 6 months, to help affect growth and to fully learn the ropes. We work hard and we have fun, and our greatest priority is to create a positive environment for all staff and customers alike.
