Line Cook Wanted

The Pioneer is looking for a Line Cook!

The ideal candidate has:
• Two plus years working in a restaurant kitchen, experience working on a hot and cold line
• Experience with attention to consistency in prep, portion control and presentation of plates.
• Advanced communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Verifiable references
• Current Food Handler’s Card

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Assist in maintaining a profitable food operation
• Assist in developing levels of inventories (pars) to minimize waste
• Monitor incoming goods/supplies to ensure the quality and quantity of product.
• Ensure proper usage of equipment and direct staff in sanitation and sanitary food handling.
• Following existing recipes, with the ability to improve and develop new menu items.
• Must keep a sanitized work area, cleaning and maintain organized kitchen as you work.
