La Calle -Tacos y Mas- is a new restaurant in Folsom! Come work for a great, family owned restaurant! We are currently looking for a Prep and Line Cook ! La Calle is a Mexican restaurant focusing on AUTHENTIC and innovative Mexican cuisine. We anticipate having a fast paced environment so experience in this area is recommended.

Description:
It is the kitchen staff’s primary responsibility to prepare the highest quality food consistently and effectively. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of food produced in our kitchen and ultimately the overall experience extended to our guests. The cook primarily performs food preparation according to recipes or instructions and must efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. In addition, the kitchen crew will partner with the restaurant staff to ensure the safety and sanitation of our facilities are in compliance with federal, state, local and La Calle’s Standards.

Requirements:
– Previous kitchen experience working in a high volume casual dining experience
– Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
– Serve Safe certification
– Must be able to work quickly in a confined area and stand for extended periods of time
– Knowledge of large and small kitchenwares
– Ability to work variable hours/days, including nights, weekends and holiday’s, as needed
– Ability to transport, lift and carry heavy objects
– Ability to deal with multiple tasks effectively and establish priorities

1. Dos anos de experienceia
2. Certificado del estado para manejar comida – Serve Safe
3. Saber algo de ingles
4. Saber de recetas
5. Comunicarse bien con los clientes y trabajadores
