Tilth Restaurant is looking for a cook to join our team.
Tilth is inspired by the bounties of the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on New American cuisine. We are certified organic by Oregon Tilth and strive to source the best in local produce, meat, and fish with an emphasis on sustainability. Our menu changes monthly and we offer both ala carte dining and tasting menus seven nights a week. We are also open for weekend brunch service.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
* A positive attitude with an even disposition and growing mindset. Most every task can be learned, attitude cannot.
* A desire to learn, and contribute.
* An ability to always maintain composure.
* An innate hard working mentality with an eye for detail.
* Flexibility and availability to work holidays, weekends, and brunch services are a plus.
This position allows you to exercise your creativity. All members of the crew brainstorm with the chef to come up with new dishes every month. It’s an excellent opportunity for those that get tired or bored of cooking the same dishes day in and day out.
