Assistant General Manager

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to help lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.

AGM Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations including organizing and supervising shifts
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
Regularly review and maintain product quality
Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations
Maintain safe working conditions
Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
Work closely with the management team to meet revenue objectives and all profitability goals
Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
AGM Qualifications, Requirements and Skills

3+ years’ experience in the restaurant industry
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven work experience as a Restaurant Supervisor/Manager, Hospitality Supervisor/Manager, Lead Server/Bartender or similar role
Experience in high volume full-service environments with sales exceeding $2M
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends. 45-50hrs a week
Proven customer service experience as a manager
Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with a desire to constantly learn more
Familiarity with MICROS, Resy and Apple products
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Exceptional organization skills
Dependable and reliable
