Company Kitchen, seeks an accomplished, dedicated Executive Chef to play a vital, hands-on role at our new client location ln St. Louis, MO. Familiarity with a Kosher kitchen and processes strongly preferred to support this retirement community.

The Chef is responsible in managing the daily operations of the kitchen area,implement ing mand accountable for high quality standards in the production process, menu planning, catering, manage food cost, and labor cost in the operation. Knowledge of kosher dietary laws are helpful but not required, we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
Directly supervise culinary staff; Execute leadership responsibilities for hiring, training, scheduling, performance coaching and discipline,
Ensure compliance with standards for sanitation, food safety, product handling, equipment utilization and general workplace safety throughout all culinary work areas.
Works in selection, costing, pricing and purchasing of menu items.
Direct and monitor all aspects of food preparation, production and presentation to ensure the absolute highest levels of quality.
Analyze business volume and product usage on a daily basis; Manage the financial performance of the department through development, analysis and implementation of sales plans and forecasts to minimize variances.
Seek out customer feedback; Respond to customer needs and requests to drive satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Contribute to our goal of 100% customer satisfaction through personal commitment to customer service and leading the culinary team by example.

Qualifications:
Degree from a post secondary culinary arts training program.
Bachelor’s degree (Restaurant Management preferable).
10 years of Chef experience.
2-3 years Kosher experience required.
