Sodexo is now hiring for Supervisor, Utility Person, Cashier and Grill Cook We are looking for a full-time and part-time at Concordia University in Austin.

Supervisor (Sous Chef) Able to cook!!!
General Responsibilities:
Understands and follows all policies and procedures.
Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity.
Responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management.
Responsible for orientation and training of employees.
Performs day-to-day assignments in addition to oversight duties.
Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution.
Promote in the development of the food service team. •Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.

Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

Dish Room Attendant (utility person)
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Sets up the dish and pot washing areas.
Performs dish and pot washing.
Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes, and utensils.
Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
Empties trash containers as required.
Cleans floors, walls, hoods, vents, and mats.
Some weekends and evening shifts required.
Significant walking or other means of mobility.

Grill Cook
Prepares, seasons and cooks meats and vegetables using skill in frying, grilling and sautéing.
Prepares, seasons and cooks starches, vegetables and other side hot food items.
Performs food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning.
Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe.
Deep fries, grills and sautés meats, fish, vegetables and other foods. Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing.
Portions food on serving plates.
May add gravies, sauces and garnishes to servings.
May select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies and prepare meals for customers requiring special diets.
May clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all Sodexho, client and regulatory rules and procedures.
