We are looking for a qualified, hard working applicant with experience in Medium to High Volume kitchen. The ideal candidate would have experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Cook. (Similar experience as a culinary student may also be considered. (The applicant must have experience cooking meals to order (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and Catering Experience preparing food for group events.
The applicant must be able to work with assigned staff and core volunteers that assist in the kitchen, when needed for larger events. (Volunteers have been trained & tested in Safe Food Handling Procedures.)
This is an hourly position with an average work week of 12-15 hours and some additional hours may be required for work during special events.
This position requires a varied schedule including some daytime, evening, and week-end work.
