The Meat Up Grill (instagram @themeatupgrill) is looking to fill 2 linecook postions with the hopes of grooming one to become our Sous Chef.
We are looking for skilled cooks able to perform and execute a variety of cooking techniques.
Culinary degrees are recommended but not required.
We operate Friday 5:30pm-10pm, Saturday 11:30am-10pm & Sunday 11:30 AM – 6PM.
This position also has 1-2 days during the week to prep for the weekend under our executive chef.
What we are looking for in our employees is:
To always be on-time
Able to follow direction with a consistent and steady work flow
above average knife skills
Must be able to communicate with fellow staff
Need to have a minimum of 4 years experience in a la carte restaurant service
Parking is available if driving otherwise there is mass transit locally
Must have a positive attitude and willing to perform all duties big and small.

Hourly wages begin at $16 per hr or higher depending on the experience and ability to take on responsibility. In addition to the hourly wage all employees are part of the tip pool each day. Our staff generally make on avg $22 per hour with tips.
