The Gutter Long Island City is hiring a lead line cook/kitchen manager.
We have a fun, but small menu, focused on quick bar food. We make as many things as possible in house. This position will also aid in making syrups, fresh sour mix, and bitters for the bar.
We are looking for a dedicated individual that is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment who can take full responsibility of scheduling, inventory, and ordering. Experience with recipe generation a bug plus.
This position also includes opportunities for growth and advancement both internally and at our new location opening towards the end of 2019.
• 2-4 years NYC kitchen experience
• DOH Food Handlers Certificate is a must
• Flexible/Open Availability
• Ability to mentor kitchen employees
• Great communication and supervisory skills
• Ability to manage administrative duties
