SaddlebackMemorial Medical Center is looking for a Cook who is passionate for the foodservice industry and enjoys cooking! Learn to cook a variety of healthy fooddishes in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate directly with the Chef in arestaurant setting to create various dishes based on dietary requirements.High-end catering for special events with patients, colleagues and leadership.The hours and schedule for this position will vary by weekdepending on business needs.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Culinary courses highly preferred
- Ability to understand written and verbal communication in English.
- Previous experience in quantity food preparation in an acute care facility highly desirable.
- Ability to perform and understand entry level tasks of at least three areas within food service.
- Ability to create new menu items and cook to instruction
